clear finishes

Light woods and finishes currently occupy a privileged position, thanks to the new aesthetic trends of styles such as nordic, japandi or natural rustic, that have turned them into raw material par excellence. Light wood also combines easily with other materials, colors, textures and fabrics. It is absolutely “wearable”. The perfect pairing of him with the white has been the key to their success over the past decade.
Two examples of the meeting tables Force (Climber and Portico) with two different finishes.
-Top image: the oak finish It offers a more yellowish and Nordic look, and is perfect for combining with white structures.
-Bottom image: the maple finish (image below) tends to be lighter and offers very warm compositions. It can be combined with gray and dark structures, as well as with powerful colours.

intermediate shades

The HM oak and beech finishes They have a point more color than the oak and maple finishes. Its toasted hue makes the table acquire a certain importance, especially with the H.M. oak. The NHB collection of cabinets are made of 19 mm laminated board for sides, floors and doors, with a 25 mm top and shelves to strengthen its structure.

El beech (below image) it is a very light wood, tending to yellow, although after going through a vaporization process that improves its behavior, it stabilizes against changes in temperature and humidity, and acquires a more reddish or orange. It adapts to any type of space and decoration. In general lines, intermediate woods they marry very badly with each other, because they are shades that “kill” each other when they go together.

Hydra Multipurpose Office Table - Classic and timeless - Limobel Inwo

Dark wood melamines

Dark finishes, like walnut and caviar, They are elegant and sophisticated, but excessive pieces with these shades are not recommended, as they can darken and dwarf spaces. The ideal is to place one or two elements in strategic places, to give them prominence, and that they are always accompanied by white metallic structures or with light gray, at most. They practically do not pair well with any other color, as do light woods, which can be combined with strong colors, such as red, blue or green.

However, the golden rule you already know what it is: never mix different types of wood finishes and always combine them with light colors, which enhances the beauty of its own tonality.
