The CLOSE office table from the FORCE series: Innovation and versatility in the work environment
En Limbel we want to be part of the future. For this reason, we have created a new creative research and development department which we have called INWO, an acronym for “Inspiring Workplace”, where we want to evolve towards new ways of working. We are dedicated to research, design, develop and implement, through our products, our vision of new work spaces with the sole objective of seeking the maximum well-being of people in their work environments.
From this innovative spirit is born FORCE, a series of office tables with three different variations to offer maximum versatility: CLOSE, PORTIC AND CLIMBER. In this post we will know in detail the qualities of the series FORCE CLOSE.
FORCE CLOSE
Due to the closed frame structure of its legs, the table receives the “Close” identity, which creatively differentiates it from all the others, transmitting a geometric and current air. In this closed version of the series, the legs are 80 x 30 cm thick, giving it maximum stability and a resounding character, the unmistakable hallmark of the entire series.
The structure of the desk
The main design feature of CLOSE It is precisely its supports made of tube section 80 x 30 x 2 mm. The width difference on its legs it allows generating interesting visual games by disassociating itself from traditional measurements.
On the other hand, its design ensures great stability and strength in the vertical plane, distributing the loads at their junction. It is coated with epoxy paint kiln-dried, characterized by its high resistance to friction and chemical substances, which allows the table to be protected during use. Long useful life, as it can be easily washed with soap and water. It is equipped with adjustable levelers that allow its height to be increased up to 15 mm.
Table top finishes
The lid is made of 25 mm thick bilaminate melamine 2 mm PVC edges. The variety of finishes also facilitates the customization of the designs:
- Melamine white, grey, clay grey, silver or graphite, or in melamine with different wood finishes.
- Finishes metallic in a wide variety of colors to combine in its structure, skirts and covers.
- coating of HPL 0.8 mm thick, high pressure laminate, antibacterial and with good resistance to impacts and sunlight, very easy to maintain and clean.
- Finished with phenolic panel 12 mm compact laminated and compacted at high pressure. Thanks to this process, the envelope has significant rigidity and resistance to the exterior.
Versatile and adaptable design
The FORCE CLOSE It is distinguished by its great versatility due to its structural shape, and offers multiple applications for various work environments, adapting to the individual or collective needs of the work environment. It has a high degree of customization due to its great variety of colors and finishes, which allows the user to give it an individual identity.
In addition, it has a good number of essential plugins that help organize the workspace and favor productivity, such as metal skirting and separators, that have different acoustic properties to isolate the user and increase their concentration.
Electrification complements
In addition, this model has various accessories for the electrification of the structure, designed to conceive a technological and innovative environment, which facilitate its use in the workplace:
- Covering system to hide the cables, through the leg, an articulated vertebra or a rigid totem.
- Different types of tray for electrification, to collect, hide or organize cables.
- CPU carts, with or without wheels.
- Hinged lid that facilitates direct access to the electrification tray.
- Round cable gland or circular electrification system for passing the wiring from the ground to the top.
- Sliding cover kit that facilitates direct access to the electrification tray for handling and storing the wiring.
- Various models of cable gland covers.
- Power strips and data kit.
FORCE CLOSE It is a versatile model with multiple possibilities. As a rectangular table, it has 5 widths different sizes (800, 1200, 1400, 1600 and 1800 mm), two depths (600 and 800 mm) and 740 mm high. Based on this design, Limobel Inwo offers a wide variety of variants: with wing, extension, angled, with auxiliary support furniture and multiple workstations.
Commitment to Sustainability
Selection of low impact materials:
- The FORCE table is made of 100% recycled and recyclable steel and wood.
- A very low percentage of formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of melamine (less than 0.008% of the board).
- Powder paint does not contain VOC emissions.
- The board comes from recycled fibers and the edging glue does not contain VOC's either.
- All our packaging is made of recycled cardboard.

- Unused powder paint is recovered.
- Metal cleaning is carried out with a closed water circuit.

- They are easy to maintain and clean.
- Being a modular product, it is easy to repair and change parts.
- In the final life cycle, the product is more than 90% recyclable and its components can be easily separated.
