Maximizing the space It is a requirement that is asked of the designers, even in large offices, so that each meter is used to the maximum. It is common to find good solutions to place work zones in minimal spaces, placing the desk against the wall, making furniture tailored to the space or using flexible tables. We show you some very inspiring cases, where the lack of space has been a challenge that has been successfully solved.

Work areas against the wall
In this passage area, between two office areas, a running and flying board, with a depth of 40 cm, the necessary measurement so that the worker can sit comfortably without hitting the wall. The L-shaped distribution allows for there to be four jobs non-permanent, delimited drawers. It is especially interesting how this corner has been enhanced with a stone cladding to give more personality to an area that is a transit area.

Flexible and ergonomic desks
La Heaven table V.2. is a versatile and functional design, which is specially designed to maximize space. Its 80 cm depth (with widths ranging from 120 to 180 cm) can be placed in different ways, either free-standing, facing another table or against the wall.
But the most relevant thing that has developed the Limobel Inwo R&D department has been the incorporation of engines high quality, to raise the height of the table uninterruptedly, 60 to 125 cm. The motors are silent and provide great stability to the table. This ergonomic system provides well-being by allowing quick and easy height adjustment, thus avoiding muscle fatigue and encouraging movement throughout the day.
In addition, it has a anti-collision system, which causes the engine to stop during descent if it detects an object that it could collide with.

Work area in a structure
This studied design allows to have two jobs integrated into a single structure, which also includes shelves, cupboards and drawers. metallic structure It is anchored to the wall and the floor at four points, and can be modulated to taste with more or less shelves or incorporating more cabinets and drawers. This design provides a temporary work area, for visitors or to support meeting or social areas.

Jobs in a central area
We find this proposal to create a very interesting and original. central area with jobs run on a U-shaped island, and in turn surrounded by others multipost separated by separators. In the center of the island a meeting table not too big, to accommodate one more activity.
This combination of formulas and different distributions of workstations responds to different work needs, but also to the need to make the most of open-plan office spaces with a furniture organization appropriate and clever.

L-shaped multi-stations
This is another solution for workstations that are positioned side by side and facing the wall, but in this case with a custom-made design so that it fits perfectly with the available space. The advantage of the furniture made by cabinetmakers and carpenters is that every last centimeter of space is used.
La cantilevered countertop of synthetic stone is combined with a skirt of wooden drawers. Under the table, an ingenious device was incorporated storage system with wooden grid doors, which guarantees adequate ventilation of the equipment. The metal shelving divides and separates this area from the entrance to the office.

Bookcase with desk
We close our tour with the String shelving, A classic 20th century design, consisting of grid sides and shelves that can be of any type, from table tops to shoe racks. With this system you can make shelves for the bathroom, kitchen, a library or a living area. modules They grow and can be placed high up, covering the entire wall or just the lower area.
The creators of this shelf, which we have seen and used a thousand times, although little known, were the architects Nils and Kajsa Strinning, pioneers in a design that revolutionized the storage systems in homes and offices in his native Sweden and eventually around the world, from the late 40s well into the XNUMXst century.
