En Limobel Inwo We are proud to be part of avant-garde office projects, with innovative and different proposals. This is the case of the Barcelona offices of Effective Communication, made by The Creative Team, where various pieces of furniture were used Limobel Inwo: tables, chairs and dividers.

This Swedish communication company was looking for a fresh, young and carefree project, where, in addition to having a stimulating work environment, there would be social zones to celebrate parties, afterworks and, even barbecues on Fridays. All of this is closely linked to its corporate strategy, which consists of creating ideal social environments for its Swedish staff posted to the city of Barcelona.

beach inspiration

Its location in Poble Nou, an industrial area of ​​textile factories converted into a hotbed of young, technological and design companies, It was the starting point for the project proposed by El Equipo Creativo. Its proximity to the beaches of the Mediterranean coast was the inspiration for a beach and surfer aesthetic, very colorful and young, in order to offer the Swedish staff a pleasant and informal environment, and thus lighten the working hours of this call document center with playful spaces where you can rest, socialize and play. Likewise, it is a successful formula that helps employees to relate, creating a small Swedish community in Barcelona.

Limobel Inwo furniture

The rectangular floor plan has a central area where ten multipost with series tables nix with oak-finish top and white metal legs, together with front dividers Acoustic Premium of different colors. The skyfall chairs with a swivel base were upholstered in different textiles from the Valencia series.
Around this area several meeting and conference rooms were located, furnished with the Nix tables with white top and metal legs deep blue, with column electrification accessories and Alpha series executive chairs, with swivel base and upholstered in leather textile.

acoustic coatings

Given the type of work carried out in the company, with many people speaking at the same time, special care was taken to acoustic efficiency. In addition to the front separators of Limobel Inwo, that divide and isolate the multiple workstations, were used insulation boards on the ceiling, arranged like a Beach towels in stripes of intense colors. For the floor, we used carpet, which also favors acoustics and works as flooring sound absorbing, with a marbled design in different shades of blue, reminiscent of the waves when they enter the sand.

The social area: the dining room

Between the work area and the terrace there is a large social space, which has a double function: to have a space for relaxed meetings and an area of dinning room. The whole environment breathes freshness and joviality, under the motto “Work & play”, with blue as a chromatic background, dotted with bright and intense colours: orange, yellow, red, green... It was furnished with high tables in the shape of a surfboard, accompanied by stools with legs painted in colours. In the background, a bench with tables of different game boards (backgammon, chess, etc.) and the typical folding canvas chairs.

The terrace: a space for play and fun

From the dining room you access the terrace through some sliding glass doors which, when open, unite both spaces. The outdoor area is paved with wooden slats, like the fence that surrounds the entire space. wooden furniture and canvas loungers striped give the unmistakable feeling of being in a beach bar. In addition, they have been placed ping pong tables and billiards, to complete the festive atmosphere. As a plant element, large flower pots were placed with strelitzias, a tropical plant with large palm-like leaves, which bear an exotic flower called Bird from paradise.  In the background, a bar covered with tiles in different shades of blue serves as a point of support for the barbecues that are held on Fridays to close the working week. No doubt many will be in no hurry to return home.
