This charming seating area belongs to the headquarters of Amika, the hair care cosmetics company, located in New York. It is located between the boardroom and multi-workstations, thus confirming the need to create these small islands of rest and disconnection between work areas.
The space is delimited by a large sofa in L, surrounded by two pairs of seats rounded shapes. Two stone tables and a side table complete this beige-toned set, just like the rest of the offices. Amika products have a colorful and casual design, with Platinum acids and vitamins, such as orange, pink, or red; colors that are not lacking in the color accents of some decorative elements.

Industrial style with a modern touch
This spectacular seating area welcomes visitors to the offices of Bosch Engineering in Germany, a subsidiary of the Bosch Group specializing in engineering solutions for electronic systems of vehicles. In their new offices, they have reproduced a certain industrial air of a mechanical workshop, but elevated to the highest sophistication. The sheet steel ladder is galvanized with the same paint used for their vehicles in a color graphite gray Modular seating groups, with and without backrests, are distributed throughout the area, with small tables inserted into the seat itself, and other triangular ones made of methacrylate. The elegant combination of matte colors with the yellow touch enhances and gives warmth to this space where reinforced concrete predominates.

Minimal and sophisticated living area
Who wouldn't want to have this elegant living room in their home? This was precisely the intention of the studio that designed these offices in a developer and construction company Luxury homes: leading by example. The location of this waiting room is already a statement of intent, as it is in Beach front in a tourist town in southern Brazil.
In order to let the views be part of the scenery, the decor tends towards minimalism, with few but very well-chosen pieces of furniture: a curved sofa in blue-grey, two hoop chairs, armchair mid-century and a table The whole room is covered with a gray carpet and a wood laminate wall that has been left exposed, unadorned, to give the spectacular views of the beach all the attention.

Bold modular seating by Limobel Inwo
This series is intended for living or meeting areas in environments of workshop, but given its flexibility, depending on the number of modules, can be placed in any space contract (hotels, restaurants, public offices, libraries, etc.), and even in projects residential.
The key to this design is its four pieces, which offer multiple combinations. Its lines are slightly rounded, but square, which allows you to play each module. The seats have 40 cm high, Standard height for living areas. The sofa backrest reaches a height of 68 cm, perfect for creating various compositions without obstructing the view.
As for the poufs, one is completely square, 90 x 90 cm; and the other is more rectangular, 90 cm x 65 cm. The piece wildcard is the table, 25 wide x 90 cm, with a laminated wood top. Those 25 centimeters add up to the pouf's 65 cm width, so all the pieces fit together like a puzzle.

The waiting room of a law firm
Another fantastic example of a minimalist waiting area, with two sofa sets facing each other in lemon yellow, placed in front of the reception desk of this law firm. The entire design of the office (which, by the way, won the Interior Design of the Year in 2023) is based on a black/white and dark/light color scheme, with barely any hints of color.
The views of the old port of Quebec are so spectacular that all the spaces in this law firm overlook the large windows. sofas They are the famous model Lupine, by Roche Bobois, and the lamp hanging over the reception furniture is a design by Catalans Jordi Vilardell and Meritxell Vidal for Vibia.

Pairwise composition
In this large seating area of the Exxonmobile offices in Shanghai, a pairwise composition, That is, duplicating each piece of furniture. A simple but very effective trick when you have a large space to furnish, since it is common to make the mistake of filling the space with disparate furniture, without achieving a balanced result. So, here they were placed two sofas in line, facing two glass coffee tables and a pair of red leather backless chairs. On either side, two pairs of seats, some black, some red. All very toned in gray and red, with a touch of black on the seats.
One of the most striking aspects of this space is the metal wall cladding and copper-colored roof. Also striking are the panels of the living area, laser cut, which reproduce different chemical compositions of the oil.
