Limobel Inwo and the furnishing of the Zabalgana Civic Center: Furniture for various activities
In 2017 the works of the Center were completed Civic of Zabalgana, located in this neighborhood of Vitoria-Gasteiz and in whose furnishing Limobel-Inwo has also participated. The project, carried out by Maar Architects Studio, It provides this new area of Vitoria with facilities for community use, where all kinds of activities can be carried out: sports, culture, social, artistic or festive. With this there are already 14 civic centers that the city has.
The center has numerous rooms that required specific furniture for continuous use. Limobel-Inwo contributed most of the different Work tables, meeting and study, storage furniture and lockers.
Sociocultural and leisure area
In this vast area, located in the north wing of the 1.400 m2 building, there are several library areas, an exhibition space, a meeting room, playroom, study room, assembly hall, computer area and various smaller rooms for workshops. For this reason, the furnishing needs depended on the activities that took place in each space. Thanks to the vast tables catalog with which it counts Limobel Inwo, all the requirements for the function of each room could be covered.
For example, in the study room (upper image) multiple workstations were placed with the ECO tables, which allow very stable compact and solid compositions, so that up to 8 people can work on the same surface. All tables have Electric socket on a countertop and are made of white melamineto 25 mm thick.
Furnishing with ECO tables
The Civic Center has an area for stalls individual work (top image), separated by glass partitions. For these areas, the ECO model with brim and skirt, which delimits the work area and enlarges the usable surface of the table. Some positions included NHB Series Mobile Bucks, with three drawers and finished in white melanin.
La ECO series It is extremely flexible and easy to combine with other elements: counters, cabinets, shelves, bucks, auxiliary furniture, skirts, dividers, etc. It is also available in a wide variety of finishes, both for the metallic structure as for the melamine lid.
meeting rooms
For this type of room, the round meeting model with base from the Pannel-Dúo series was chosen, a round table with a melamine top and a steel base finished with white metallic paint. round tables they favor communication between people and are perfect for meetings and group work, which is the purpose of these rooms in the Civic Center.
Furnishing in workshop classrooms
The versatility of the tables Elis Folding was key to his choice in these multifunctional areas where various activities take place: music or craft workshops, yoga and meditation classes or magic and circus courses. The careful design of Elis is designed precisely for those multipurpose spaces that require a lot of flexibility and be modified at the moment. In addition to carrying wheelsis folds upright and is characterized by its metal structure with legs and beams that supports surfaces 25 mm thick. These areas were completed with white metal cabinets (left of the image), with sliding doors.
Sports area
The sports facilities are located in the southern part of the building and have several gyms, two indoor swimming pools and a sports court. In this zone, of great activity and a lot of wear, the phenolic lockers with 4 bodies and 8 seats, with doors in four shades, ranging from white to graphite, passing through two shades of grey. With this combination you get a dynamic effect and very aesthetic, by breaking with the monochrome of the linear ticket offices of the same color on both sides of the corridors.
